Whenever I get asked the one food I miss the most on a gluten free diet, it’s Chicken Super Noodles. Which is why I’m so excited to share my Gluten Free Super Noodles recipe with you! So easy to make with just four ingredients – no more missing out!

How To Make Gluten Free Super Noodles

🍜 You only need 4 ingredients and 10 minutes to make these gluten free super noodles, but to get them just like the real thing, you must use the specific products.

🍜 All you have to do is mix the chicken powder, turmeric and parsley into the water, boil the noodles in the liquid, then serve them up and enjoy!

🍜 I’ve tested this recipe multiple times and this is the magic combination that tastes just like the Batchelors Chicken Super Noodles I have been missing SO much.

🍜 After I shared this recipe on my Instagram earlier this year and SO many of you made them, I just had to post the recipe on my website for everyone. Even though really, it’s not so much a ‘recipe’ as just adding a few things to a pan 😂.

Don’t just take my word for it…

I had so many lovely messages on Instagram from everyone who tried this recipe for themselves, here are a few to show you how loved this recipe is!

Katie said: “Just made the gluten free super noodles dupe, think this will be my go to girl dinner, thank you for posting the recipe.”

Sam said: “Oh my days finally made your chicken super noodles! Thank you 🤤🤤 what a recipe to have in the GF world!”

What You’ll Need:

To get this recipe bang on, it’s really important to use the exact products I’ve detailed below. Otherwise, I can’t guarantee how the recipe will turn out!

The chicken powder I use.
  • Brown Rice Noodles: For this recipe I recommend you use either the Real Naturals Gluten Free Ramen Noodles or the King Soba Brown Rice Noodles. These are both the BEST texture, come in noodles cakes and absorb the liquid perfectly.
  • Chicken Powder: This Honor Chicken Powder is gluten free and tastes JUST like the chicken Super Noodles seasoning I remember. A little goes a long way so the tub will last for ages – I highly recommend this brand as it’s the closest in flavour.
  • Turmeric: Just a tiny pinch of this will add that authentic Super Noodles colouring. It’s not essential for flavour, but definitely for looks.
  • Dried Parsley: Again, this is not 100% needed for the flavour if you don’t have any, but it adds those green flecks you’d find in the original Super Noodles.

Recipe Tip

If you still have some excess liquid in the pan once the noodles are cooked, tip everything into your serving bowl and leave it to stand for a few minutes. As the noodles sit and cool they will absorb the excess water.

Instructions

  • Place a small saucepan on a medium heat and pour in the boiling water. Stir in the chicken powder, turmeric and parsley.
  • Once boiling, add the noodle cake. Bring back to the boil and keep on a gentle, rolling boil for 4-5 minutes. I usually turn the noodle cake over about half way through.
  • Use a fork to tease the noodle cake apart. Pour everything into a bowl and leave to sit for 1-2 minutes before eating.

Notes

  • This recipe is designed to use the specific linked products for the best copycat recipe – I recommend not switching these as it won’t be the same, and trust me, I’ve tried and tested a LOT of noodles.
  • Want to pimp your gluten free noodles? For something a bit extra I love to add leftover shredded chicken, soft boiled eggs, THIS incredible chilli crunch or some crushed peanuts. But you can add anything you like to make this a more substantial meal instead of convenience snack!

Made these at lunchtime and they taste exactly the same as I remember chicken super noodles tasting. Well done!
