I absolutely LOVE noodles – and when I’m not making my own gluten free egg noodles recipe, I’ve been taste-testing all the gluten free noodles I can find!
Different brands can be so hit and miss and while I haven’t found any gluten free egg noodles for sale in the UK, I have found some pretty decent alternatives.
Plus I’ve got a tutorial on how to make your own gluten free chicken super noodles too.
Here are the best gluten free noodles you can buy – in my humble, coeliac opinion – from plain noodles to instant ramen and noodle pots!
Real Naturals Gluten Free Ramen Noodles
These have caused a bit of a storm on social media – and for good reason! The Real Naturals Gluten Free Ramen Noodles come in boxes of 10 noodle cakes – that’s right, just like egg noodles!
Made with brown rice, their texture is SO good. Completely different from the usual rice noodles you buy – much more like egg noodles. My absolute fave and the best value for money as you buy them in bulk.

King Soba Brown Rice Noodles
These King Soba Brown Rice Ramen Noodles are, in my opinion, pretty much identical to the Real Naturals ones and again come in a cake-form. It just makes me feel more ‘normal’ which I absolutely love.
These have a fantastic texture, similar to egg noodles, but work out a bit pricier as you buy them in packs of 3 noodle cakes. But worth it, in my opinion, for decent noodles!

King Soba Brown Rice Noodles
I really like these King Soba Brown Rice Noodles, which are similar in texture to the ramen noodles but come in ‘stick’ rather than nest form. Honestly, I could interchange to two quite happily. Just don’t confuse them with the buckwheat noodles which have turned to sludge every time I use them! The packaging is very similar so it’s easy to get confused!

BAMI Gluten Free Instant Ramen Noodles
Well, I did get a bit too excited when I saw these BAMI Gluten Free Instant Ramen Noodles go on sale on Amazon! These are the closest thing I’ve found to Chicken Super Noodles (the thing I miss the most!!) and are absolutely delicious.
It’s just so nice to feel ‘normal’ being able to eat instant noodles – and they’re made with the Real Naturals noodles so they have a fantastic texture and taste!

Wow Chow Noodle Pots
As far as rice noodle pots go, these are by far my favourites. These Wow Chow noodle pots come in 4 flavours: Vietnamese Chicken (my fave!), Korean Spicy Beef, Thai Hot Sour Tom Yum and Fiery Szechuan Pepper. And that’s in order of 🌶️ heat!
I love that a) they come in a really big pot and b) they remind me of the ‘normal’ noodle pots, in that you drain off the water then add the flavourings. It means you don’t end up with a cup of hot, flavoured water and the flavour of the noodles is more intense!
