This simple, creamy Tomato Burrata Pasta is a quick and easy midweek meal, ready in 15 minutes, that feels super indulgent. The silky smooth tomato pasta sauce coats the gluten free pasta, with swirls of creamy burrata in every mouthful.

A 15 Minute Gluten Free Pasta Recipe For Everyone!
I love this creamy tomato pasta with burrata recipe for so many reasons – the main one being how QUICK and easy it is to make!
The simple tomato and cream sauce, flavoured with Italian seasoning and chilli flakes, comes together while the pasta cooks, meaning it’s on the table in 15 minutes.
I only use a handful of everyday, storecupboard ingredients for the silky smooth pasta sauce, which coats the gluten free rigatoni perfectly. Other pasta shapes are optional!
This is a simple gluten free dinner everyone can enjoy and a great one for busy weeknights. Plus you can’t beat a bit of burrata, right!?

Ingredients and Substitutions
There’s a printable recipe card below for this creamy tomato and burrata pasta recipe with the full quantities. But here are the main ingredients and ideas for any swaps.
- Gluten Free Pasta: I use gluten free rigatoni pasta for this recipe as I just love the shape! The Rummo one is my fave but I also love the Vitto one which is new.
- Garlic: I use garlic paste as I always have it to hand, but fresh minced garlic or chopped garlic works just as well.
- Chilli Flakes: Omit these if you don’t want spice.
- Tomato Paste
- Double Cream: Or heavy cream, in the US.
- Italian Seasoning: Use a mixed Italian seasoning, which is usually a mix of basil, oregano, rosemary, thyme and marjoram.
- Burrata: I use a ball of burrata as you cannot beat it. You could use mozzarella instead or just omit this if you don’t want that side of the dish.

How to Make Creamy Tomato Burrata Pasta
There’s a printable recipe card below with the method. But here are some step-by-step photos to show you how easy this gluten free tomato and burrata pasta is to make.

Want To Make This Ahead Of Time?
Gluten free pasta tends to not to reheat too well as it can break up or go mushy – I’d recommend making this and eating it freshly cooked.
However, if you want to save time you could start the sauce, then keep in the fridge and add the pasta water and finish when cooking the pasta fresh.

Ingredients
- 200 g gluten free rigatoni pasta
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp garlic paste
- 0.5 tsp chilli flakes
- 100 g tomato paste
- 200 ml pasta water
- 75 ml double cream

Instructions
- Bring a pan of salted water to the boil and cook the gluten free pasta as per the pack instructions – this is usually around 10 minutes on a rolling boil. Before draining, reserve 200ml of the cooking water to use in the sauce.
- In a large frying pan, add the olive oil and place on a medium heat. Add the garlic paste and chilli flakes and fry for 1 minute.
- Add the tomato paste and Italian seasoning, mix well and fry for another minute.
- Pour in the reserved pasta cooking water, mix until you have a smooth sauce, then take off the heat. Drain the pasta in a colander.
- Stir the cream into the sauce until mixed. Add the cooked pasta, stir to coat.
- Top with the burrata (you can rip this open or add chunks around the dish) and serve straight away with a good helping of cracked black pepper.
