I know I only wrote a post about a load of new gluten free finds last week, but there have been so many new gluten free goodies out there I felt like I had to write another one already! With more free from Christmas products coming out as well as a load of new gluten free chilled and dry goods, here’s a round-up of some of my new gluten free finds this week!
First up, I spotted a few new ranges in Tesco’s new vegan chilled aisle which are vegan but also gluten free! Check out some of the goodies in the range…
Vegan and gluten free nuggets and schnitzels
Finding gluten free and vegan products is always exciting, but even more so when they’re gluten free and breaded! I was excited to find these Like Nuggets and Like Schnitzel in Tesco and will definitely be giving them a go!
Vegan and gluten free smoked sausage
After trying a Quorn Bratwurst a little while ago I am definitely keen to try this! I loved smoked sausage so the fact this one is vegan and gluten free is super exciting! Again, another Tesco find.
Gluten free and vegan chicken and kebab pieces
These both look really interesting – Like Chicken Bites and Like Kebab pieces. I think these would come in handy for lunchboxes and again are gluten free and vegan.
Gluten free and vegan ‘chicken’ curry
I always find it hard to pick up a ready meal (on those occasions I just DON’T want to cook) which is gluten free and vegetarian. So now there’s this gluten free and vegan chicken-style curry I’m excited to give it a try and see what it’s like!
Beyond Meat vegan and gluten free sausages
These plant-based sausages are brand new from Beyond Meat, who already make an incredibly meat-like burger. Find them in the chilled section in Tesco – I can’t wait to give them a try because the texture of their vegan burgers are so much like meat. These are gluten free too.
Wicked Kitchen ‘amazeballs’
Wicked Kitchen don’t do many gluten free products but these new Wicked Spiced Amazeballs don’t have any gluten in them and are also brand new in Tesco’s chilled aisle. I used to love one of their salad bowls I could eat so I have a good feeling about these!
As well as all these vegan goodies, here are some other new gluten free finds this week…
Gluten free casarecce pasta
It’s always exciting to find some new gluten free pasta shapes, and this Taste the Difference gluten free casarecce pasta looks awesome. I feel like this would be amazing with a really creamy sauce and I’ll definitely be picking some up to try.
Gluten free linguine
I love linguine in a carbonara, so I was pretty happy to see this Taste the Difference gluten free linguine on the free from shelves in Sainsbury’s. It’s great to have more choice so I think this will be a good option to try for dinner next week.
Gluten free sotelli pasta
This new gluten free penne and spaghetti also appeared on the free from shelf in Sainsbury’s this week. It seemed pretty reasonably priced, and again provides another great option to try out. Let me know in the comments if you have tried it!
And finally, a few new gluten free Christmas goodies that have appeared this week too…
Asda free from salted caramel shortbread biscuits
These gluten and wheat free biscuits are new in Asda’s free from aisle and I am so ready for them! It may only be September but what the hell, these will be gobbled up all year long in my opinion! I can’t wait to try them!
Gluten free choc, cherry and amaretto cookies
Found in Sainsbury’s, these choc, cherry and amaretto gluten free cookies sound incredible! I can’t remember if they were out last year but I definitely want to give them a try – found them in the free from aisle among the usual Christmas suspects!
And finally, they were all sold out of this in my M&S but LOOK…
M&S milk choc & cookies spread
I saw the lovely Becky aka @FittieFodmapLdn share this brand new gluten free milk chocolate and cookies spread on her Instagram feed but sadly my store was all sold out! This is gluten free and it sounds so epic – I can’t wait to get my hands on some!
