If you’re looking for Lidl’s gluten free Christmas food offerings then you have come to the right place! Now updated for 2024, I’ve got a look at the new gluten free Christmas food in Lidl so far. Let’s take a look…
My gluten free supermarket guides are always really popular at Christmas and I love showcasing all the free from goodies I find.
A lot of the ‘mainstream’ products are actually gluten free as standard now – which is good because Lidl doesn’t actually have a free from range.
I found quite a lot of gluten free goodies, but definitely less than previous years. For example, some of the frozen pigs in blankets contain wheat, as do all the stuffed joints I found.
So make sure you definitely check the labels as some products are very similar to each other – but one is gluten free while the other is not.

Lild’s 2024 Gluten Free Christmas Foods:
Here are all of the 2024 Lidl’s free from Christmas goodies I have found so far. Keep checking back as I’ll update this with the newest products I find at top!
Lidl Deluxe 18 Cocktail Sausages
This pack of 18 cocktail sausages would be great for party food – and making my honey mustard cocktail sausages recipe! Clearly labelled as gluten free.
Lidl Birchwood Pigs in Blankets
These chilled pigs in blankets are labelled as gluten free – I found them within the festive chilled foods along with some other goodies.
Lidl Deluxe Pigs in Blankets
I found two different types of pigs in blankets in the chilled Birchwood range that were both marked gluten free.
The first were spiced apple pigs in blankets, which would be fab with apple sauce for dipping, and the second were caramelised onion pigs in blankets. Yum!
Lidl Deluxe Pork, Orange and Cranberry Stuffing Balls
If you like some fancy stuffing balls for your Christmas dinner or party buffet then these would be perfect, and they’re clearly labelled gluten free.
Lidl Deluxe Pork Sausage Meat
If you want to make your own gluten free stuffing balls, homemade gluten free sausage rolls, or just stuff your own joint of meat, this would be perfect.
There was both a plain pork sausage meat and a pork, sage and caramelised onion version too – both are marked as gluten free.
Lidl Deluxe 12 Macarons
It’s not often you find baked goods in Lidl that are gluten free but these macarons don’t contain any gluten and don’t have any may contain warnings.
Lidl Deluxe Antipasti Greek Style Platter
I love anything to do with antipasti and charcuterie so this Greek style platter would be my dream festive lunch one day. With olives, pepper, houmous and feta.
Lidl Deluxe smokey chilli & honey baking camembert
I mean any form of baked cheese is an instant win in my eyes. But this one has a smokey chilli and honey glaze which just sounds fabulous!
Lidl Antipasti Platters
As well as the larger Greek platter above, Lidl also had some smaller antipasti platters. One contained olives and cured meats, the other is a vegetarian one with cheeses and olives. Yum!
Lidl Deluxe Chorizo Pigs in Blankets
If you want a fancy pigs in blankets alternative then these spicier chorizo ones would be perfect. Ideal for a tapas board or party food buffet.
Lidl Deluxe Gnocchi
It’s always great to see some gluten free gnocchi options and Lidl’s stuffed gnocchi is always yummy. This one is filled with porcini mushrooms.
Lidl Deluxe Frozen Mini Roulades
I was really pleased to see both the Raspberry & Cream Mini Roulades and the Toffee & Pecan Mini Roulades are gluten free, as specially as so many in other stores have ‘may contains’.
I believe there are gluten free, full-sized versions of these too but my local store didn’t have any in stock when I went to check. These are all in the frozen aisle.
Lidl Deluxe Biscuit & Chocolate Flavour Dessert
I really didn’t expect this frozen, biscuit-flavour dessert to be gluten free, but it doesn’t contain any gluten nor have any may contains. Found in the frozen aisle.
Lidl Deluxe Brandy Ice Cream
Personally not sure brandy ice-cream is quite my thing, but I imagine a scoop of this would be nice on top of a gluten free Christmas pudding.
Lidl Party Time Loaded Potato Skins
Both these cheese & onion potato skins and cheese & pepperoni potato skins in the Lidl frozen party food selection are gluten free.
Personally I picked some up to try and wasn’t blown away – but I think with some dips and other party food bits they’d be good for a buffet.
Lidl Deluxe Vegetable & Potato Mix
This frozen veg and potato mix seems like a good side dish if you want something really quick and easy. It comes with a lovely-sounding chive and parsley butter.
Lidl Mini Potato Gratins
I loved these potato gratins from the Lidl frozen aisle in previous years so was really happy to see that they are still gluten free!
The Emmental Cheese ones are yummy, as are the Rosemary and Thyme ones. They’d be great as a side dish for Christmas dinner.
Lidl Favorina Fruit Jellies
This hefty box of fruit jellies are one of the few Lidl’s-own sweet things I could find that are gluten free. They’d be a great present or after-dinner treat.
Lidl Deluxe Festive Crisps
There are lots of options for crisps in the Lidl Deluxe range that are gluten free this year. I can’t wait to try the hot honey and camembert crisps, and the black truffle and parmesan ones.
I’ll certainly be stocking up the festive cupboard ready for plenty of evening crisp-and-dip snacks while watching a film!
Lidl Deluxe Date and Walnut Cake
I wasn’t sure if this would be gluten free when I picked it up – but it turns out it is. It’s simply dates and walnuts melded into one cake shape!
Lidl Deluxe Milk Chocolate Pistachios
I’m very much looking forward to adding these chocolate-coated pistachios to my snack table this Christmas eve. Perfect for munching while watching telly!
What’s still to come?
Hopefully as more of the fresh products come out closer to Christmas there will be some more gluten free food options in Lidl I can update this post with.
