Asda Gluten Free and Dairy Free Christmas Food (2024)

Now updated for 2024, I’ve got a look at the new gluten free Christmas food in Asda so far – including lots of vegan and gluten free treats. So what’s new in Asda’s Christmas food for the free from world? Let’s take a look…

If you’re looking for lots of new Christmas treats to try, Asda certainly has a fabulous haul of free from Christmas products.

There are loads of new sweet treats on the shelves, and a few really great options for kids too. Plus lots of the OMV vegan range are also free from gluten!

Asda always consistently delivers on it’s festive offerings with an excellent range of free from goodies which seems to get better-and-better.

The 2024 Christmas goodies are already on the shelves so I’ve started to update this blog post with my best gluten free Asda Christmas finds.

Asda’s 2024 Gluten Free Christmas Foods:

Here are all of the 2024 Asda’s free from Christmas goodies I have found so far. Keep checking back as I’ll update this with the newest products I find at top!

Asda Pigs in Blankets

Both the Asda pigs in blankets and the Asda Exceptional pigs in blankets, so you can take your pick! Both are clearly labelled on the fronts of the packs too.

Asda’s Exceptional range also has these chipolata pigs in blankets which are gluten free as well. I think these would be amazing for gluten free toad in the hole!

Asda stuffing balls

There is plenty of choice when it comes to gluten free stuffing balls in Asda too. The Asda pork, sage and onion stuffing balls are labelled gluten free on the front of the pack.

These Asda Exceptional pork, cranberry and orange stuffing balls also sound delicious and are gluten free too.

Asda seasoned pork sausage meat

If you want to make your own gluten free stuffing balls then this Asda pork sausagemeat would be perfect. Also great for stuffing a bird!

And it’s marked clearly as gluten free on the front of the packaging.

Asda pork, chestnut and bacon stuffing

This Asda Exceptional stuffing sounds so good, I kind of want to just cook it up and eat a plate of it! Gluten free pork sausage meat stuffing with chestnuts and smoked bacon.

Asda slow cooked turkey breast with stuffing

If you don’t fancy anything too tedious for Christmas Dinner this slow cooked turkey breast with pork, chestnut and cranberry stuffing sounds delicious.

It’s gluten free by ingredients (not all of their stuffed meat joints are) and would be perfect for a smaller family Christmas – it cooks in just 55 minutes!

Asda Free From Cake Pop Bites

Yummy – these dark choc and honeycomb cake pop bites are new in Asda this year and it’s great to see something a bit different!

Chocolate cake pop bites with a truffle centre and honeycomb pieces, these are gluten free and vegan, which is great to see.

Asda free from Christmas cake and cake slices

My local store has both a mini Christmas cake, which would be lovely for gifting, and a pack of four Christmas cake slices in stock.

The cake is gluten free and the Christmas cake slices are gluten and dairy free.

Asda free from chilli cheese bites

These frozen chilli cheese bites were in the free from section and sound delicious! Cheddar and mozzarella with jalapeños, in a gluten free crumb.

You guys know how much I love party food so it was nice to see these cheesy treats!

Asda frozen turkey parcel with stuffing

I’m pleased to see some gluten free Christmas dinner options appearing, including this turkey parcel with orange and cranberry stuffing.

It sounds delicious and it’s gluten free by ingredients with no ‘may contain’ warnings.

Asda frozen bacon wrapped turkey joint

Another good gluten free Christmas dinner option here, which has a pork, sage and onion stuffing which is gluten free by ingredients.

I might stock up on something like this for Christmas dinner this year to make life easier!

Asda frozen cheddar cheese potato tots

I absolutely LOVE party food and tater tots, so to combine the two in these frozen Cheddar potato tots is basically all my Christmas wishes come true.

These are in with the frozen party food and while not labelled gluten free, they don’t have any gluten in the ingredients or may contain warnings.

Asda frozen seasoned French fries

I love the sounds of these Southern-style flavoured French fries I found among the frozen party food in Asda.

They don’t contain any gluten and to be honest, I actually picked these up for dinner as they sounded so tasty!

Asda Free From Stollen Style Slices

I’m still waiting for someone to bring out a gluten free stollen but these stollen-inspired slices are the closest thing I’ve found so far in supermarkets.

With cherries, sultanas and marzipan, these are gluten free and sound delicious.

Asda Free From Jingle The Reindeer Cupcakes

These chocolate cupcakes with toffee frosting have a cute reindeer on top and are gluten free. Perfect for bringing to a gluten free party!

Asda Free From Spiced Millionaire’s Shortbread Cookies

Ooo, these spiced millionaire’s shortbread cookies sound delicious! With white chocolate chunks, an all-butter shortbread and milk chocolate base.

I’m definitely going to have to get some of these to try out!

Asda Free From Chocolate Chip Stars

I love a star-shaped biscuit treat and these shortbread stars with dark chocolate chips sound delicious. They’d be a great stocking filler or after-dinner nibble.

Asda Free From Choc Orange Mini Segments

It’s always annoyed me that Terry’s Chocolate Orange is not safe for coeliacs, so finding these mini orange segments made my day.

Plus these are gluten free, dairy free and vegan – so everyone can enjoy them!

Asda Free From Brussels Sprouts Truffles

I do love a novelty gift and it’s nice to see some fun bits like these Brussels sprout choc truffles in the free from aisle. These are gluten free and vegan!

Asda Free From Mini Chocolate Yule Logs

Always a classic, you just can’t beat some mini chocolate yule logs. I’ll never know why they don’t just make them into actual mini Swiss rolls – like gluten free Mini Rolls. But until then, these are pretty yummy!

Asda Free From Mince Pies

I love a good mince pie variation so it’s nice to see three different ones from Asda! The standard mince pies, iced mince pies and frangipane mince pies.

All of them are gluten free and dairy free, and both the iced mince pies and normal mince pies are also certified vegan.

Asda Free From Christmas Pudding

Of course there’s a gluten free Christmas pudding in Asda’s free from range! This one is gluten free and vegan and a good size – it serves 4.

Asda Free From Spiced Latte Shortbread

It’s nice to see some festive treats for those who aren’t a chocolate fan and these spiced latte shortbread sound lovely.

They’re gluten free and vegan with a lovely spiced coffee flavour – I reckon they’d make a great cheesecake base too.

Asda Free From Orange Viennese Fingers

These orange Viennese fingers look like a lovely treat – in previous years they were a chocolate orange viennese finger instead.

These gluten free treats are coated in milk chocolate and sound delightful.

Asda free from savoury crackers

I always get excited about the savoury Christmas products and love having a choice of gluten free crackers.

The cheese ones and the sea salt and rosemary ones are both gluten free and the latter sound amazing – I’m bagging them for my cheeseboard this year!

OMV Salted Caramel and Honeycomb Squares

Erm ok now these sound INSANE. These salted caramel and honeycomb squares are part of Asda’s OMV vegan range but they’re also accidentally gluten free.

OMV Double Choc and Hazelnut Cookies

These OMV Double Choc and Hazelnut Cookies were another stealth gluten free find in Asda’s vegan festive range. They’re not labelled gluten free but they don’t have any gluten or any may contain warnings!

OMV Festive Choc Truffle Selection

These vegan chocolate truffles look like they come in a lovely selection and I like that they’re gluten free but not in obvious free from packaging.

What’s still to come?

That’s all my finds so far from Asda’s Christmas food – though I am hopeful there will be lots more to come! Some highlights from the 2023 festive range I hope will return include:

• Asda’s giant (accidentally gluten free) pig in a blanket
• Adsa free from Roddy the Reindeer cake
