I’ve got that Friday feeling which can only mean one thing – it’s time for my next round-up of gluten free finds! I’m trying to get into a habit of doing this every other week as there are always so many new gluten free goodies around and it’s hard to post them all on my Instagram and Facebook!
This week I’ve found gluten free bagels, new kombucha and dairy free chocolates, to name a few, so here are my gluten free discoveries from the last week or two. Let me know if there are any I’ve missed in the comments below!
NOMO gluten & dairy free chocolates
I found both the snack-size and sharing bars new in the free from aisle in Tesco this week after one of my lovely followers told me about NOMO. I haven’t tried them yet but it’s nice to see some grab-and-go dairy free options out there too.
Tesco gluten free millionaire’s shortbreads
I remember Tesco did some gluten free millionaire’s shortbreads before and they were amazing – they were pulled for a while but it looks like now they’re back in snazzy new packaging! I really hope these are as good as the last ones, I’m going to have to give them a try asap.
Tesco gluten & dairy free bagels
Another new find in Tesco this week was these gluten and dairy free bagels from Tesco. They felt really squidgy in the packet so I’m excited to see what they’re like. I might have to start adding a gluten free bagel into my pre-gym meal so let me know any topping suggestions!
No1 Kombucha lemonade flavour
I picked up the new lemonade and cola flavoured kombucha bottles from Sainsbury’s and loved the lemonade one! Steve was a fan of the cola one, but I didn’t like it so much – it tasted exactly like cola bottle sweets (not a fan!). These are definitely a good one if you’re new to kombucha and want a try.
Sainsbury’s lunch ‘pots’
I found these new little pots in Sainsbury’s and they made a nice lunch alternative! They’re £1.80 each and with two together I found they were as filling as a sandwich and a lot tastier. I loved the sauces in them both or they’d be great as a side for a salad.
M&S Maple and Bacon Tortilla Rolls
I’ve recently discovered that tortilla rolls are SO much more fun and better for dipping than tortilla chips! These maple and bacon ones from M&S are marked as gluten free and they’re delicious. I actually am scoffing a pack while I write this, if you want proof!
Sainsbury’s vegan katsu kebabs
These new katsu kebabs from Sainsbury’s are really tasty and a good summer BBQ alternative if you’re cutting down on meat. I loved the taste but I did find them a little sticky and difficult to manoeuvre from the pack to the pan. Some of them ended up without a stick and in several pieces!
Tesco mini free from cupcakes
My Mum bought me some of these mini gluten free cupcakes for my birthday and they’re amazing! The raspberry ones are all pink inside and they’re soooo cute. Definitely a great one for any party platter.
Deliciously Ella nut butter balls
I finally found these gluten free nut butter balls from Delicious Ella and the hazelnut ones are amazing! Little energy balls stuffed with hazelnut butter – they’re a little pricey but nice to have a different snack. I picked these up in Holland and Barrett.
M&S Plant Kitchen Not-zzarella sticks
These vegan ‘not-zzarella’ sticks from M&S look really great and perfect if you’re gluten free and vegan. They do however carry a ‘not suitable for milk allergy sufferers’ label on them so perhaps steer clear if you’re allergic or intolerant to dairy?
