Easter is creeping up on us and with it is bringing a wave of new gluten free products, hurrah!
It seems like there’s a steady stream of new gluten free goodies coming to the shelves again now the Veganuary train has officially stopped!
Some of these products may have been out a little while but they’re certainly new to my local supermarket shelves.
I thought I’d do a little round-up of all the new gluten free goodies I’ve discovered over the last couple of weeks.
Please let me know in the comments below if there’s anything I’ve missed. I love hearing about your gluten free finds!
Promise gluten free brioche burger buns
I’m a big fan of Promise’s gluten free bread and these gluten free burger buns are something I’ve not seen before. I can’t wait to try them as I was kindly sent some – but they’d be perfect for barbecues!
Asda free from Easter Choc Friends
How cute are these for an Easter treat? These Easter Choc Friends are gluten free and vegan and look like a lovely alternative to Easter eggs.
Tesco gluten free choc chicks and friends
On the subject of cute gluten free Easter gifts, look at these lovely little chicks and bunnies in Tesco’s free from aisle. Again, another nice alternative for kids which isn’t an Easter egg!
Asda free from Honeycomb & Raspberry Choc Slab
Now THIS is the kind of Easter treat I’m talking about! This Asda free from Easter slab with honeycomb and raspberry is gluten free and vegan and doesn’t it look amazing!?
Asda plain gluten free naan bread
These gluten free plain naan breads in Asda are also vegan and not ones I’ve seen before. I tried them and thought the texture reminded me more of pitta breads. Not my favourite gluten free naan, but nice to see a plain option out there.
Street Kitchen rice paper roll kit
How awesome is this!? This Rice Paper Roll kit with hoisin sauce is not the kind of thing I’d expect to be gluten free, yet it is! I triple checked the ingredients and no gluten in sight – find these in Asda.
Sainsbury’s gluten free chocolate swirls
I finally found them! These gluten free chocolate swirls in Sainsbury’s are the latest new pastry product out there and the feedback I’ve heard so far is good. Can’t wait to try them.
Sainsbury’s gluten free sultana scones
These gluten free sultana scones are another new treat in Sainsbury’s. I found them in the free from aisle (though they only had one pack!) and I’m sure these will be a welcome sight for many!
M&S gluten free hot cross buns
Ok, so these aren’t brand new, however they’re new out again this year! I love the M&S Made Without Wheat hot cross buns and at the time of writing they were on offer for two for £2.50.
M&S gluten and dairy free chocolate pot
Dessert fans, look out for this new chocolate pot in M&S! I haven’t seen it before but it’s marked as gluten and dairy free and sounds like a great treat to fix a sweet craving.
Tesco gluten free bake at home rolls
I much prefer bake at home gluten free breads because I just find fresh out of the oven is the best! These new gluten free bake at home rolls from Tesco look great and I cannot wait to try them.
Low FODMAP garlic mayo
I know a lot of readers follow the low FODMAP diet, so this new find in Tesco will hopefully be great news for you guys! I found it in the free from aisle and it’s nice to see more FODMAP diets emerging.
Trek protein nut bars
These new nut protein bars from Trek look lovely (found in Tesco) but which would you choose first – dark chocolate and sea salt, dark chocolate and orange, or blueberry and pumpkin seed?
Nairn’s apple and cinnamon oat bars
These new Nairn’s apple and cinnamon oat bars sound great, right? It’s nice to see more gluten free snack bars out there – I found these in Tesco free from aisle.
