Anyone who knows me knows that I am OBSESSED with gluten free breaded cheese – so Christmas is the best time of year ever.

Each year more and more breaded cheese products come out which are gluten free – from gluten free mozzarella sticks to nacho cheese bites.

Because I know so many of you are also huge fans of a cheesy snack, I thought I’d round up some of the best gluten free breaded cheese options for 2021.

Of course you’ll find all these products in my gluten free Christmas individual supermarket guides but this is a great way to get down to the specifics.

As well as specific free from options, a lot of the gluten free Christmas party food is now gluten free as standard.

This has really opened up the choice for us coeliacs and gluten free-ers, so I hope you can fulfil all your gluten free breaded cheese dreams right here.

And I’ve even tried to include some gluten and dairy free options here too so that nobody has to miss out.

Here are some of my favourite gluten free breaded cheese goodies on sale for Christmas 2021…

I don’t know why it has taken Cathedral City so long to release some breaded cheese bites but I am honestly SO happy they are gluten free.

I haven’t had a chance to get to Iceland to buy some yet but I’ve heard they taste just like inside-out cheese on toast.

And quite frankly, that sounds like heaven to me. They come in a bag of approx 15 (375g) and cost £3.75.

Sainsbury’s Nacho Cheese Triangles

I was very excited to see these Sainsbury’s Nacho Cheese Triangles in the frozen aisle are labelled as gluten free.

They’re cheese and spicy and just delicious – and their frozen mozzarella sticks are also gluten free so you can go for double the cheese.

These come in a pack of 12 (250g) and cost £2 – though at the time of writing they were on offer for £1.50.

Tesco breaded cheese selection

There’s always bonus points if a breaded cheese platter has some variety and this new chilled breaded cheese selection from Tesco has three to choose from.

The smoked cheese stars are my favourite but I also love the red Leicester cubes – and you can’t go wrong with a classic Cheddar melt.

Just don’t get these confused with the frozen breaded cheese selection which is slightly different and also NOT gluten free.

Co-Op Cheese Stars & Soft Cheese and Garlic Bites

Another cheese selection on offer this year is this lovely pack from Co-op which also heavily features garlic, making it an instant win for me.

The chilled party food pack has cheese stars and soft cheese and garlic bites, and would look just the ticket as part of a beige party platter.

Have a look at the other Co-op party food on offer here too as there are some goodies, despite the removal of their gluten free frozen range *sob*.

Waitrose breaded cheese selection

My nearest Waitrose is an hour away but honestly it would be worth the drive just to pick up a pack of these for the camembert alone.

The pack of 12 cheeses costs £5 and includes breaded camembert, breaded soft cheese and garlic bites in a parsley crumb, and mozzarella and onion cubes.

I mean honestly, put me in a bath and fill it with these and I will be the happiest person around – it’s all gluten free too.

Morrisons Paneer Sticks

Oh now these are something a bit different from the Morrisons party food range and they sound fantastic!

These paneer sticks can be found in the frozen range of party food and they’re completely gluten free, wahoo!

They have a spicy pakora coating and I can’t wait to give them a go and see what they’re like.

Tesco Plant Chef No Moo-zzerella Sticks

I’ve seen some excitement in the dairy free world that these Tesco Plant Chef vegan ‘mozzarella’ sticks are in fact gluten free too.

They have a crunchy rice and potato starch coating and look fabulous – I can’t wait to give them a try and see how they compare.

WHAT ELSE CAN I FIND IN STORES?
