If you want the perfect edible gift for Christmas, this easy Baileys Fudge has to be it! Soft, boozy fudge with chocolate sprinkles and SO easy to make. This Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur Fudge recipe is gluten free. Plus I’ve got microwave, hob and slow cooker methods for you to choose from!
I do love a Baileys at Christmas so making Baileys Fudge just seemed like an obvious choice when it came to making homemade gifts.
The most difficult part is actually not eating the fudge and trying to save it for gifts!
Much like my slow cooker fudge recipe, this easy, 3-ingredient Baileys fudge is ridiculously easy to make and so deliciously moreish.
You can make this either in the slow cooker, on the hob in a pan or in the microwave – and I’ve popped both methods for all three options in the recipe card below.

Ingredients
You only need 3 ingredients to make this simple Baileys fudge recipe:
- Chocolate: I like to use an equal mix of dark and milk chocolate, but you easily use one or the other. Always ensure your chocolate is gluten free, as many aren’t.
- Condensed Milk: You’ll need a tin of sweetened condensed milk for this fudge – it’s the magic ingredient that makes this fudge so easy!
- Baileys: Of course, you’ll also need Baileys (or another Irish cream) to make this recipe. It wouldn’t be Baileys Fudge without it!
I also scattered some gluten free festive sprinkles on top of my Baileys Fudge to make it look extra special. This is completely optional, of course!
Because all three ingredients contain dairy, I’m afraid this recipe can’t be made dairy free or vegan. It is, however, completely gluten free!
How to Make Baileys Fudge
You can make this super easy Baileys fudge in either the slow cooker, on the hob or in the microwave.
All three methods are super easy, so it depends on how hands on you want to be with it.
Firstly, break the milk chocolate and dark chocolate into squares or roughly chop them into small pieces.
To make in the slow cooker:
Add the chocolate, condensed milk and Baileys to the slow cooker along with the condensed milk.
Turn the slow cooker onto LOW and cook for 1 hour – stirring half way through to ensure the mixture doesn’t stick to the side or burn.
To make in the microwave:
Add the chocolate, condensed milk and Baileys to a microwaveable bowl and microwave in 30-second intervals until melted. Be careful not to burn it. Mix well until smooth.
To make in a pan:
Add the chocolate, condensed milk and Baileys to a pan. Keep the pan on the low heat, stirring regularly, until the chocolate has melted and there are no lumps.
Once you have made your fudge mixture:
If the fudge is very soft, pop it back in the fridge to firm up after cutting it up. Using a knife warmed under hot water helps to cut through the fudge neatly too.
Line a 20cm square baking tin with baking paper and pour the melted fudge mixture into it. Smooth out evenly and, if using, sprinkle over the gluten free festive sprinkles.
Cool at room temperature for 30 minutes then place in the fridge and chill for 3-4 hours (or ideally overnight). Remove and cut into 24 squares.
Storing and Freezing
The Baileys in this recipe means it is a little softer than my slow cooker fudge recipe. However, it is just as delicious!
This means ideally it needs to be kept in the fridge. You can also freeze it and defrost it whenever you fancy a piece!
