Wow – there seems to be a bit of an American theme going on today, so here’s another bit of GF news to add to the theme!

A friend of mine sent me a link today to this Walt Disney World podcast from the 14th November – all about a new gluten free bakery opening in the park!

A vegan and gluten free bakery

Babycakes is a vegan bakery based in New York and Los Angeles, and they are opening up their new store in the Downtown Disney area of Walt Disney World.

Emily Woesthoff, the Babycakes Orlando General Manager explained on the podcast that the bakery will be one of three restaurants replacing the old McDonalds building in the park.

All cooking will be done with gluten free ingredients to avoid contamination of foods.

As the restaurant is vegan it will also cater for those with dairy and egg allergies or intolerances.
