On a mission to finish my assignment today, I stumbled into the Pannier Market in Barnstaple, North Devon, and found Roseann Parkin.

Delicious raspberry jam, from Rose's Chutneys

Rose was flaunting a delightful array of jars full of all kinds of concotions. From Picalilli to Mango Chutney and Blackberry Jam, they all looked delicious.

On a mission to get interviews, I had a quick word with Rose and tried out some of the jams. The Plum and Apple jam was delicious, and I’m such a fan of Raspberries that when I saw the raspberry jam I had to snap it up.

Not only was it delicious and full of seeds (I love them!) but it was also gluten free!

These jams are all home-made and as far as possible contain locally sourced fruit and veg!

So if you’re looking for a yummy treat to have on toast, or some delicious chutneys to accompany your sandwich, you should head onto Rose’s website: www.roseschutneys.com/
