Whether you’re new to a gluten free diet, have been diagnosed with coeliac disease or are just looking for more inspiration, it can be hard to know the best gluten free cookbooks to buy.

As a blogger I’m very lucky to have tried-and-tested some of the best gluten free cookbooks out there, so I thought creating a post on them would be really helpful!

A coeliac disease diagnosis can be life-changing, but it doesn’t have to mean settling for boring food.

Did you know one in 100 people in the UK are estimated to have coeliac disease, according to Coeliac UK?

Imagine if all those people ate boring, gluten free food which made them miserable!

With so many gluten free cookbooks out there, as well as so many blogs and other resources, there is simply no excuse NOT to eat fun food.

One of the biggest aims of my blog is to make sure everyone on a gluten free diet enjoys their food.

I don’t want anyone to feel left out, or upset over foods they can’t eat.

Instead I want anyone with coeliac disease to see they really can eat a gluten free version of most foods – it just sometimes takes a little creativity.

So if you’re not sure where to start, here are 10 of the best gluten free cookbooks to try…

Her book, priced at £15.40 on Amazon, is the ultimate bible for anyone starting on a gluten free diet or newly diagnosed with coeliac disease.

Jane was our ever first guest on the Oh Crumbs Podcast (listen here!) and we were bowled away by her knowledge.

I can highly recommend this as a great gluten free cookbook to start with – and make sure you try the pizza base recipe! The book is endorsed by Coeliac UK.

  1. I collect cookery books and the best gluten free baking book (by far) I have come across is Cake Angels. Every recipe is amazing. Would thoroughly recommend.

  2. Becky Excell’s book, ‘How to make anything gluten-free’ is a fantastic book! She’s bringing out her second one, ‘How to BAKE anything gluten-free’ is coming out in September. The first one has really good tips on swaps, and ‘fakeaways’, as well as one of the best lemon drizzle cakes ever! All recipes also have tips on how to make them dairy-free, or low FODMAP too… a great resource… currently £10 on Amazon 😊
