    Thyroidectomy Scar - Five Months On

    So here's a quick blog just to update you on the healing of my thyroidectomy scar!

    It's been just over five months since my operation and I can't believe how different my scar looks!

    Here's a couple of pics so you can see the difference properly!

    Here's what my scar looked like in January, less than a month after my surgery...

    And here's what it looks like now, just over five months on.....

      It will get better.

      My late Mom was one of the first to have this op done in the early days of surgery. Unless you looked for it you would hardly know it was there.

      You have done wonderfully well. Mine isnt anything like as neat & tidy as yours!!
      I am 17 months post op....

      Please remember to put some factor 30 on the scar for a while.....
      Keep up the good work....
