It’s certainly been a good month for new gluten free goodies, and there are a few new gluten free products in Asda worth sharing!

I love it when a supermarket free from range launches a whole new line and Asda have done us proud with it’s new frozen free from products.

Asda launched its new gluten free products around the same time as Tesco’s new free from product launch – I’ve just been super slow to write this up!

But I know how much you guys love a ‘new finds’ post so here’s a round-up of some of the new gluten free foods in Asda this month.

Hands up who else SERIOUSLY misses curly fries!?

Well, now you can get your fix with these brand new gluten free curly fries in the frozen free from aisle in Asda.

I used to be a bit obsessed with curly fries so I absolutely cannot wait to try them.

I believe Morrisons also does some gluten free curly fries, though I’ve not seen them in my local store for a while.

It’s just great to have options!

Asda gluten free onion rings

There was a lot of upset when Tesco’s gluten free onion rings disappeared for a while (don’t worry – they’re back now!).

So the fact you can now buy gluten free onion rings in Asda too is awesome news!

These are in the frozen free from aisle and I’m excited to give them a try – it’s like having a pub lunch at home.

In fact, I might have to make some gluten free burgers and serve them up with curly fries and onion rings galore!

Asda gluten free garlic bread

I’m a huge fan of a garlic baguette so was excited to find this gluten free garlic bread in Asda’s frozen free from section.

It looks like it might contain dairy, but it’s gluten free and I can’t wait to test it out.

I usually make my own gluten free garlic bread but sometimes I’m just feeling lazy.

So this will definitely be a handy one to keep in the freezer for those occasions!

Asda gluten free cheese and potato pie

I’m always happy to see a new gluten free pie, but it’s even more exciting when it’s something different.

I’d not seen a gluten free cheese and onion pie before so it’s great seeing a gluten free vegetarian option.

With Cheddar and Red Leicester, this saucy, cheesy pie sounds delicious and can be found in Asda’s frozen free from aisle.

Asda gluten free chicken and vegetable pie

If you prefer a meaty option, there’s also this brand new Asda gluten free chicken and vegetable pie.

I think this would be my pie of choice, with chicken, peas and carrots smothered in gravy and encased in gluten free pastry.

Again, this can be found in the frozen free from aisle, along with…

Asda gluten free steak and gravy pie

The final offering in the gluten free pie selection from Asda is this gluten free steak and gravy pie.

Again, it’s another classic and I really hope they’ve done it well as I’d love to be able to have a gluten free steak pie option.

That is, for when I’m too lazy to make my own gluten free steak and ale pie recipe!

Kirsty’s gluten free and vegan cheesecake

The final item I found in the Asda frozen aisle was this gluten free and vegan Sicilian Lemon Cheesecake by Kirsty’s.

Kirsty’s do some fan dessert slices (which can also be found here) but this is the latest launch.

I’ve not seen many cheesecake options that are gluten free and vegan so thought this looked pretty cool.

I’ll definitely need to try it soon as it sounds like the perfect summer dessert!

    1. I came across those a while back and they were delicious. Strangely enough, I’ve not seen them for around 6months in my own local ASDA – which is a really BIG one. Pity that they aren’t more consistent about what each store stocks.

  1. Just found Asda’s own tea cakes, they are very good.
So fed up with my local Sainsbury’s limited selection.

  2. My son reckons the curly fries are not much different from the normal ones that we used to have from Lidl or Iceland. Just with a hint of spice.
All of the Kirsty’s desserts are really good.
Asda now do their own brand Free From Lasagne. It’s a great shame that it is twice the price and a lot smaller than the normal 1 portion own brand though.
