I love hosting round-ups of all the gluten free Christmas products that are in the supermarkets each Christmas, and the latest instalment is from Aldi.
Aldi is a bit of a difficult one as they change their product ranges so often.
However, I found quite a bit of gluten free Christmas food in Aldi this week so thought it was enough to warrant sharing with you guys!
I'm hoping I'll be able to add to this as more food gets released in the run up to Christmas.
My Aldi is relatively small so there is probably more gluten free Christmas foods in Aldi's range that I haven't been able to find.
I updated this post in December 2020 - as always, please make sure you double check the ingredients before buying as sometimes stores can vary or things change.
But either way, I really hope this is helpful - here are some of the gluten free Christmas foods I found in Aldi this week...
Gluten free frankfurter pigs in blankets
How cool are these gluten free frankfurter sausages with mustard and roasted onion, wrapped in bacon?
They're basically like giant pigs in blankets and I am absolutely for this!
I reckon these would be amazing eaten in a gluten free hot dog bun with mustard!
Mini Chorizo pigs in blankets
Just when I didn't think you could improve on pigs in blankets, in walk these gluten free mini chorizo sausages wrapped in bacon.
I'm not sure I'd serve these with a Christmas dinner but imagine how amazing they'd be as part of a party platter!
Or you could have them as part of a buffet for Christmas Eve - they'd be amazing with olives and cheese!
Scorpion chilli pigs in blankets
Got a gluten free chilli-lover in the house?
These fiery pigs in blankets sound like great fun for a party - you could buy some normal pigs in blankets and play Russian Roulette with them!
Again these are gluten free and would be fantastic for a buffet-type dinner.
Boneless buttered chicken breast joint
I couldn't find much in the way of pre-prepared joints yet in my Aldi but this butter basted chicken breast joint looked great.
We're having a very small Christmas this year so I was thinking of picking this up to cook alongside a ham.
Plus I actually prefer chicken to turkey anyway - this looks delicious!
Salt and Chilli Pork Belly Bites
Most of the Aldi party food is breaded and has wheat in, but these salt and chilli pork belly bites are gluten free.
If they're anything like the usual Aldi salt and chilli pork belly then these are one for the chilli lovers!
They were super hot and fiery but very moreish - I think these would be great for a buffet.
Cranberry Houmous
Aldi do a great array of houmous but this new Cranberry Houmous sounded really interesting.
It's topped with a spiced wine and cranberry sauce and chestnuts which sounds unusual but kind of cool.
And I also found the perfect thing for dipping in it...
Aldi's gluten free festive crisp selection
Aldi has a pretty cool selection of festive flavour crisps at the moment and they're all labelled as gluten free.
The Turkey and Stuffing ones sound delicious, and then there's the Pigs in Blankets flavour which I reckon I could just scoff all in one!
There are also two flavours involving cheese - a Brie and Cranberry one, which I'm not so sure about, and a Camembert and Rosemary one which sounds amazing.
Frozen King Prawn Ring
There wasn't really anything in the way of frozen gluten free party food in Aldi, aside from this king prawn ring.
I have fun memories of us always getting these for family gatherings and always forgetting to defrost them!
Again these would be great for having of an evening - perhaps dipped in sweet chilli or cranberry sauce.
Free From Mince Pies
I couldn't find any free from specific products in my whole store apart from these Free From Mince Pies.
They're gluten free and vegan so everyone can enjoy them and look lovely with a deep filling and sugary top.
I found these with the normal mince pies so definitely try to hunt them down.
Aldi Trio of Chutneys
This pack of three different chutneys would make a lovely gift for someone or be perfect for the cheeseboard.
All of the chutneys are gluten free and come in this lovely box too.
Choose from Sticky Fig, Caramelised Red Onion & Balsamic, and Chipotle Chilli - or just crack open all three with some gluten free crackers and cheeses.
Aldi Caramel Spreads
What's better than spreadable caramel? THREE different caramel spreads - that's what!
Choose from Salted Caramel, Gingerbread Caramel or Chocolate Caramel, or just buy up all three.
They're all gluten free and they sound perfect for Christmas baking or spreading on gluten free toast or croissants.
Aldi chocolate covered marshmallows
Well these just look like they'd make the best gluten free Christmas presents, don't you think?
Chocolate coated handmade marshmallows - choose between Salted Caramel or Blood Orange and Gin, which just sounds incredible.
These look like a really nice alternative to the usual chocolate gifts anyway.
Aldi Choc Um's
These Choc Um's are a regular at Aldi and like a gluten free alternative to M&Ms or Smarties.
They're great for baking and while they're not specifically festive, I thought they'd be a great gluten free gift idea.

Maybe your Aldi perhaps, my local Aldi cannot be bothered to even stock Gluten-free mince pies. Previously they have had GF mince pies, Christmas puddings and iced bars but this year a big fat Zero. Similarly other stores (Tescos, Waitrose etc) no GF food. Told to go to bigger stores in big cities. Apparently this is no GF need in towns.
