There have been quite a few new gluten free products out this month, and with the Allergy and Free From Show just gone, it feels like a good time to highlight some of my gluten free finds! From gluten free pain au raisin to a gluten free Malteasers alternative, here are some new products I’ve found this month!

Schär Delishios

gluten free finds uk july 2019 7

They’ve been the talk of the town these past few weeks, and I finally got my hands on the Schär Delishios to try (they’re available in Asda to buy from this week!). They’re billed as the gluten free alternative to Malteasers – I don’t think the ‘malty’ taste is there, but they’re very nice all the same!

Gluten & dairy free Kirsty’s Pizzas

I also was gifted these new gluten and dairy free pizzas from Kirsty’s to try (also in Asda) and was really impressed. It’s nice to see a dairy free pizza which isn’t vegan with the chilli chicken one, and I’m yet to try the vegetable one but it sounds good!

Kirsty’s gluten free apple pie

I was also gifted these gluten free and vegan apple pie slices from Kirsty’s (also in the Asda frozen free from aisle) and they look amazing! It’s nice to see some more frozen dessert options in the free from world and these look like an upmarket addition which I can’t wait to try.

Gluten free halloumi bites from Pizza Express

gluten free finds uk july 2019 1

I got a takeaway from Pizza Express this week and I had to try the new halloumi bites on the menu. These bits of halloumi are coated in crispy gluten free breadcrumbs and they come with a tasty tomato dip. I really enjoyed these and think they’re a fab addition to the menu.

M&S gluten free pain au raisin

I still haven’t been lucky enough to find these myself (sob) but Laura (my fellow podcast host!) has managed to get hands on them and they look amazing! I can’t wait to try these gluten free pain au raisin from M&S as they look delicious!

Costa Coffee iced cans

gluten free finds uk july 2019 6

I spotted these new ice coffee cans in Costa this week and can’t wait to try them. They do an americano, a latte and these caramel latte cans. None of them have any gluten in the ingredients so they could be a good one to try if you’re an iced coffee fan and are in a hurry!

New CoOp gluten free sandwiches

gluten free finds uk july 2019 14

I picked up this new gluten free pesto chicken sandwich from the CoOp stand at the Allergy and Free From Show at the weekend (it was gifted) and really enjoyed it! It’s so nice to see an option which isn’t a boring chicken salad or cheese and ham. CoOp always seem to bring out something a bit different!

Quorn bratwurst

gluten free finds uk july 2019 9

I found these Quorn bratwurst in the chilled vegetarian aisle in Sainsbury’s and am looking forward to giving them a try. They have no gluten in the ingredients and no may contain warnings. I’ll have to try recreate a vegetarian version of the currywurst I tried in Berlin!

Mitch’s Kitchen vegan and gluten free meals

gluten free finds uk july 2019 5

I tried Mitch’s Kitchen at the Allergy Show – something I’ve been wanting to try for ages! These are a range of gluten free and vegan ready meals and they’re fab – I love the creative flavours and the awesome packaging too! Give them a try if you need some vegan meal inspo!

Mavericks popping corn

gluten free finds uk july 2019 11

I haven’t tried this Mavericks Poppin’ Corn yet but it looks pretty cool! I found this in Sainsbury’s and they have both sweet and savoury varieties – all marked as gluten free. I’m always a fan of new gluten free snacks so I’m looking forward to giving these a go.
